Nord Security is founded in 2012
Coveron’s journey began in 2012, when childhood friends Tomas Okmanas and Eimantas Sabaliauskas co-founded Nord Security to build internet security tools that anyone could use. Over the years, Nord Security grew into a global cybersecurity company best known for its VPN service NordVPN.
NordProtect is launched in 2024
After years of building online privacy solutions, in 2024, Nord Security launched an identity theft protection service called NordProtect, with Tomas Sinicki as managing director. The service focused on dark web monitoring, credit protection, and expert-led recovery.
NordProtect becomes Coveron in 2026
Two years later, in 2026, NordProtect became Coveron — a standalone identity theft and online scam protection brand. The name changed, but the mission stayed the same: detect identity risks and fraud early to help people recover fast.
